MASALAH

Relativistic mass of photon. However, the photon has zero invariant or rest mass.

Relativistic mass of photon. Rest mass of photon depends upon scalar curvature of the surface of matter and wavelength of the photon. Namely, the fact that a photon always travels at the speed of light c. The far-reaching mathematical consequences of this cannot yet be overlooked. However, the photon has zero invariant or rest mass. So a nonzero m 0 in the numerator gives an infinite mass. But what about relativistic or dynamic mass of photon ? M=Mo/sqrt (1-v2/c2) Mo (rest mass) is zero for photons and v=c, therefore relativistic mass m becomes 0/0 which is a undefined quantity. Photons are traditionally said to be massless. The relativistic mass expression gives a zero in the denominator if the velocity is exactly c, which of course it is for a photon. jbqz loe2l vxjx j9ryp jrerilf hnm uw8my6 tffw0 l8l 1fos
